Ellen Margaret Vance Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 12, 2023, at the age of 103, Ellen Margaret Vance of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, born in Knoxville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Kavanaugh Meehan and Ellen Cecilia Long Meehan; her siblings, Rosemary Stewart, Leo and Robert Meehan; her husband John Gerald Vance (Jack); and her children, Kathleen Vance and John Joseph.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Vance Jimmerson (Keith), Ellen Vance O'Shea, Stephen Francis Vance, Paul Gerald Vance (Susan), Mark Christopher Vance (Sharon) and Philip Gerard Vance. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
