He was predeceased by: his parents, Callie Randle Phillips and Macy Reona Phillips; and his sisters, Juanita Strong (Louise) and Willie Maude Rector (Peanut). He is survived by: his wife Judy Hester Phillips; his caregiver Lisa Bickey; his son Richard Phillips; his grandson Steve Dority; his brothers, Kyle Phillips, Bobby Phillips (Kay) and Lynn Phillips (Eileen); Melissa Mynatt (Barry Mynatt).
