He is survived by: his wife Linda Lewis Avery; his children, Robbin Lewis, William Lewis (Angie) and Michael Lewis; his sister-in-law Hattie Dunn; his grandchildren, Stephawn Lewis, LaTecia Dillard, LaTraé Lewis, Ravan Goodman and Keyonna Huddleston; his nephew William Winford; his close friend William Young; and his aunt Annette Butts Bell. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and cousins; and many other relatives, loved ones, and friends.
