He is survived by: his children, Page Stoutland of Glen Arbor, Carol Stoutland of Seattle, Susan Bielski (Brent) of Omaha and Julie Frommelt (James) of Edina, Minnesota.; his wife Jan; his grandchildren, Theodosia Rossi, Zane Rossi, Remy Rossi, Dena Bielski, Maya Bielski, Luke Frommelt, Emma Frommelt, Ben Frommelt, Gabe Frommelt and Luca Stoutland; his stepchildren, Tracy Bailey and Kevin Rutherford (Beth Saur); and his stepgrandchildren, Taylor, Riley, Ellie and Maddie.
