It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harue Yamashiro Arakawa of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, born in Kapaa, Hawaii, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward T. Arakawa; her parents, Kama Yamashiro and Kamato Yamashiro; and her siblings, Seiji Yamashiro, James Yamashiro and Kay Henna.
She is survived by: her children, Sandi Henry (Bill), David Arakawa (Donna), Paul Arakawa (Marie) and Carolyn Livengood (Greg); her grandchildren, Daniel Henry (Cally Greenway), Jonathan Henry (Bridgette), Bryan Arakawa (Hannah Pierce), Amy Caturano (Anthony), Aaron Arakawa, Mattie Livengood and Jake Livengood (Nina); and her great grandchild E. J. Arakawa.
