He was predeceased by: his parents, Howell Simerly and Edith Ames. He is survived by: his aunt Ruth; his uncle Luther Gregory; his grandson Timothy; his wife Katherine Simerly; his children, Steven Simerly (Debra), Cynthia S. Tucker (Greg) and Timothy; his great grandchild Amy Howren (Mya); his child Ashleigh Tucker James Simerly (Julian); and his stepgrandson Dr. Kevin King.
Due to the pandemic & family illness, a private family service will be held.
