Jo Ellen Iacovino Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Ellen Iacovino (Oak Ridge, Tennessee), who passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jimmy Rowan, Brien Rowan, Harry Rowan, Don Rowan, Colleen Rowan Black and Sara Rowan Watkins; and her parents, James Leo Rowan and Sara Elizabeth "Bess" Brien Rowan.
She is survived by: her son Anthony Iacovino (Estelle Mitsopoulos); her grandchildren, Zoe and John; her daughter Julie Whallen (Andrew); her grandchildren, Madeline, Nicholas and Joseph; her daughter Gabrielle Fernandez (Raul); her granddaughter Maria; her daughter Susannah Enkema (David); her grandchildren, JP, Anna and Olivia; her sisters, Sheila Rowan, Annette Rowan Rodriguez and Kathleen Rowan Carlton; and her family, Nashville, Anthony and Julie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews on both sides of her family and a constellation of dear friends, neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Weatherford Mortuary (158 S Jefferson Cir, Oak Ridge, TN 37830). A rosary will be held on Sunday, December 21st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 10:40 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (323 Vermont Ave, Oak Ridge, TN 37830).
