With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Roland Loyd (Oak Ridge, Tennessee), who passed away on December 28, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John R. Loyd, Jr. and Peggy Rudder Loyd; his wife Sara Webb Couch; his great grandchild Abigail Grace Cortner; his daughters, Julie Loyd Colburn (Scott), Peggy Loyd Koelsch (David) and Linda Loyd Dreke (Ryan); his grandchildren, Katie Colburn Drakos (Eric), Becky Colburn Cortner (Jonathan), Daniel Colburn (Jenna), Thomas Colburn, John Koelsch, Kevin Koelsch (Campbell), Elizabeth, Matthew, William and Caroline Dreke; and his brothers, Mark and Byron Loyd.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Faith Lutheran Church at 1300 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
