We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2023, at the age of 82, Johnny C. Cox of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, born in Oliver Springs, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Cox and Eloise Cox (Joyce Cox) of Oliver Springs; and his pet Sam. He is survived by: his wife Donna Cox of Oak Ridge; his sons, John (Becky) of Roane County and Jeff Cox of Coalfield; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Nelson (Josh), Walter Cox (Jen), Kari Payne (Casey) and Mackenzie Godwin (Cameron); his great grandchildren, Killian Payne, Atticus Cox, Josslyn Nelson, Anika Nelson, Jericho Nelson and Asher Nelson; his siblings, Wanda Lou Walls (Royce) and Jerry Cox (Annie); and his brother-in-law Steve Stahl (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many close family and friends.
