He was predeceased by: his wife Floretta Estep Franz (Flo); his parents, Kenneth Franz and Elsie Franz (Hill); his siblings, Dennis, David Franz, Elaine Keeler, Winona Franz and Naomi Franz; and his siblings-in-law, Sonny Estep (Dee) and Enid Franz.
He is survived by: his siblings, Harriet Wilson (Rich) and Charles Franz; his sisters-in-law, Carol Franz and Nancy Mertes; his daughters, Kendra Phillips (Deon) and Dana Glass-Mattie (Brad Mattie); his grandchildren, Brandie Parton (Matt), DeJay Phillips (Rusty Cook), Kelsey Rasp (Paul), Katie Siler (Rob), Leanne Mattie, Benjamin Hatfield (Oubon), Evan Glass and Coby Glass; and his great grandchildren, Zander Parton, Dakota Cook, Brandon Siler and Riley Parton. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
