It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Cathy Phillips of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, who passed away on April 14, 2022, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Blayne Sampsel and Ethel Stocks; and her father Ben Utter. She is survived by: her aunts and uncles, Thelma Rose Mathis, Jennifer Williams, Glen Ray Sampsel and Michael Sines; her daughter Janice Nicole "Peanut" Phillips; her mother Louise Marsee of Oak Ridge; her children, John Wilson of Wartburg, Katie Phillips of Oliver Springs and Laura Phillips of LaFollette; her brother Ray Moore of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Princeton and Evan of LaFollette; and her aunts, Ollie Ann (Uncle Ray) of LaFollette and Frances of Clinton. She is also survived by several cousins, other family and friends along with her special friends.
