He was predeceased by: his parents, E. B. Gamblin and Geneva Gamblin Allbritton; and his siblings, Charlie Gamblin and Theresa Gamblin. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gamblin; his children, Julie Hubbard (Dale), Matt Gamblin (Allison) and Stuart Gamblin (Brinna); his grandchildren, Olivia, Will and Ian Hubbard; and his brother Barry Gamblin.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Tennessee.
