She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Hayes; her parents, Pete Smith and Ruth Smith; her brother Wade Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Virginia Smith, Charles Cunningham and Billy Hayes.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Warren Hayes of Soddy Daisy, TN and Patrick Thomas Hayes (Heather); her grandchildren, Braxton Hayes of Cartersville, GA. and Jessica Hayes Ingham (Chris); her great grandchild Everett Ingham of Chattanooga, TN; her sister Sherry Cunningham; and her siblings-in-law, Mack (Kathy Hayes), William (Martha Gail Hayes) and Joanna Hayes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
