She was predeceased by: her parents, George Collins and Elizabeth Collins; her husband Stanley Benson; and her brother George "Sonny" Collins, Jr.. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Andrew and Hannah Benson; her niece Sarah Jane Bruner (Mark); her great-niece Elizabeth Turner; and her great-nephew Collin Bruner. She is also survived by many other relatives, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Heifer International and The Alzheimer's Association.
