He is survived by : his wife Deborah Hutchinson; his sons, John (Marcie Hutchinson) and Steven Hutchinson of Germany; his stepsons, Stefan Coisson of Illinois and Ryan Coisson of Texas; and his cousins, Becky Rowey of Rhode Island, Norman Rowey of Indiana and Karen Julian. He is also survived by Four grandchildren.

“Deborah, I'm so sorry for the loss of your husband. My cousin Tom and I had lost touch over the years, but I'm so glad I got to meet you and see him in Ft. Myers a number of years ago. As you know, my brother and I lived with Tommy in Germany in 1974-1975 after the loss of our parents. One of the best memories I have is our visit to Berlin. Tommy was one of my favorite cousins and also a favorite of my mother.”
