It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Sylvester Kress (Oak Ridge, Tennessee), born in Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Reid, Wendy (Charles) and Tyler; his grandchildren, Ryan, Lindsey (Zak), Jessica (Peter), Adam, Taylor (Jessica), Kurtis (Shae), Bob, Kacie, Gavin and Fletcher; and his wife Dee.
When Covid hit the globe, he hung up his basketball shoes and fishing waders but continued to enjoy time with his wonderful wife, Dee, and his family.
