He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorene Easton Delaney and Ellis Lester Delaney; and his siblings, Bill, Les, Jim, Tom and Roberta.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Elsbree Lyle Delaney; his children, Susan Lane Delaney and William Ray Delaney (Michele); his stepdaughters, Mary Lyle Huff (Charles Sparks) and Susan Lyle Lloyd; and his grandchildren, Jackson Burk Lloyd, Kendall Paxton Lloyd, Caroline Elizabeth Delaney, Sadie Belle Lloyd and Grace Ellison Delaney.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Oak Ridge or Clinch River Habitat for Humanity, 105 Randolph Road, in memory of Wes.
