With sadness, we share the passing of Dot Tackett (Oakfield, Tennessee). Dot, born on March 19, 1955, passed away on September 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Martin and Jesse Elrod Martin; her husband Chris Allen Tackett; and her siblings, Margaret Ann Martin, Shorty Martin and Kenneth "Sponge" Martin.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Bell (Tracy) of Dothan, AL; her boyfriend Richard Pinkley; her siblings, Lou Qualls, Thomas "Bubba" Martin (Beverly), Lynn Martin (Marie) and Bobby Martin (Sandy); and her grandson Ryan Bell (Madi Ledlow).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Oakfield Baptist Church (3527 Old Medina Rd, Oakfield, TN 38362). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
