He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Opdyke and Elizabeth Prestych Opdyke. He is survived by: his children, Kelle Dudas (Star Hoover) of St. Petersburg, Cassie Updyke of Neptune, Tiffany Alfonso (James Young) of Oakland, Tennessee and Mitchel Gerlach (Amanda) of Manahawkin; his siblings, Marlene Smith and Paul Updike; and his grandchildren, Gracie, Josie, Chel, Dustin, Anthony, Zachary, Cody, Hayden, Hannah and Jaxson.
