He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Caldwell and Lula Catherine Poe Caldwell; and his siblings, Joe Caldwell and Faye Caldwell Melton. He is survived by: his wife Derry Caldwell; his sons, Charles Dean Caldwell and Randall Caldwell (Susan); his stepsons, Paul Dodson and David Dodson; his grandchildren, Clay, Carter, Logan, Ashton, Sophia, Penelope, Katie and Sam; and his great grandchildren, Scarlett and Cooper.
