He was predeceased by : his parents, Glenn Strachn Dodd and Gertrude Glasgow Dodd; his daughter Sandra Vollmer; and his sister Jo Ann Kraft. He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Dodd; his children, Diann Belote (Mike), Kelly Crawford (Chip), Lisa Williamson (John) and Morris Glenn Dodd, Jr. (Marianne); his son-in-law David Vollmer; his brother-in-law Jim Kraft; his grandchildren, Jessica Belote, Erin Meredith, Jeffrey Vollmer, Andrew Vollmer, Jennifer Dixon, Tommy Dodd, Will Crawford, Baylor Williamson and Harriet Williamson; and his great grandchildren, Emma Jane Vollmer, Hannah Vollmer, Grayson Meredith, Weston Meredith and Cohen Jubirt.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel (10670 US-64, Somerville, TN 38068). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
