He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Fair and Susie Esther Davis Fair; his wife Mary Sue Webb Fair; his daughter Pamela Gail Rainey; and his grandson James Christopher Bevis.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Fair of Obion, Tennessee and Margo Brown (Ray) of Dyersburg, Tennessee. He is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
