She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin F. DeFreece; her son Terry DeFreece; and her brother James Harris Carman. She is survived by: her grandsons, Ricky Morrison, Dr. Louis Morrison and James DeFreece. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
