With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Linda Newton of Obion, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvin Smith and Martha Drummonds Tatum; and her siblings, Frank, Thomas, Cooper Tatum, Alvin Weaks, Mary Tucker Scott and Mattie Scott.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Gene Newton; her children, Tommy Hopper (Jennifer), Natalie Seals (Jeremy) and Amanda Hopper; her brother Alex "Snookie" Weaks; her grandchildren, Jackson Seals (Avery), Katie Bratton (Chase), Paul Hayden Seals, Livee Seals, James Wesley Mooring, Kiley Hopper, Ty Hopper and Nathan Scott; and her great grandchildren, Baylor, Hampton Seals and Hendon Bratton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the North Lake Church (Former Keystone Church of God). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
