Vinson Farrell left this world on May 21, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Cecil and Mary Ruth Barnes Thompson; his grandparents, Marion Richard Vinson of Obion, Ora Lee Howell Thompson of Obion, Fount of Obion and Vader Bell Turner Barnes of Obion; and his sister Annabelle Denning (Herman).
He is survived by: his wife Olivia Ann Coleman Thompson; his children, Anita Kapperman (Mark) of Chattanooga and Vinson Farrell Thompson, Jr. (Liz) of Southaven, Mississippi.; his grandchildren, Cameron Kapperman (Rachael), Conner Kapperman (Samantha) and Cydney Kapperman; and his great grandchildren, Jack Henry Kapperman and Charles Thompson Kapperman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and in-laws.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Troy Church of Christ (1215 US-51, Troy, TN 38260). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
