With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn A. Lanham of Old Hickory, Tennessee, who passed away on October 27, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wirt Ashe and Kathryn Ashe; her husband Jimmy Sr.; her son Jimmy Jr.; and her siblings, Norman, Paul, Joe and Dodie.

She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Tidwell (Jerry).

“Ms. Carolyn Lanham was very compassionate and encouraging. She would be the person to greet you and offer words of comfort each Sunday morning at the church. She spent much time talking with my mother and would often remind me of the house shoes my mom knitted for her. The wind chimes Ms. Lanham gave us are in my front yard and will remind me of her sweet spirit for years to come. She will be greatly missed.”
