She was predeceased by: her parents, Thakar Singh and Hoshiar Kaur; and her sister Balwant Kaur Rangi. She is survived by: her husband Harbans S. Dhindsa; her brother Kuldip Singh Tiwana (Kuldip Kaur Tiwana); and her brother-in-law Bhagat Singh Rangi. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
