Edith Pauline Behel Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edith Pauline Behel of Old Hickory, Tennessee, born in Pulaski, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Edith left this world on October 2, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond M. Behel; her siblings, Becky Harmon, Mary Brock, William Harwell and Thomas Harwell; and her grandson Joshua Behel.

She is survived by: her sons, Raymond M Behel, II (Amy) and Don H. Behel (LeaAnn); her grandchildren, Jonathan Behel (Ashley), Jacob Behel (Adam), Tyler Behel (Kelly Connell), MacKenzie Smith (Sean), Carson Palmer and Curtis Palmer (Lauryn); and her great grandchildren, Lillian Behel (Lilly), Elijah Smith, Everett Smith, Kai Behel and Koa Behel. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hermitage Funeral Home (535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138).
