With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin G Jenkins of Old Hickory, Tennessee, who passed away on April 23, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Edwin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by : his wife Virginia; his siblings, Margaret and JD; and his parents, William and Carmilla.

He is survived by : his daughters, Sherry Craig (Allen), Lori Kemper, Melody Ward (Tim) and Tammy Lee (Scotty). He is also survived by grandfather known as "Popee" to 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Old Hickory Church of Christ (1001 Hadley Ave, Old Hickory, TN 37138). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
