She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry H. Thompson; her mother Lillian Castleberry; her brother Allan Castleberry; and her father Albert Castleberry. She is survived by: her children, Joe (Janet), Robert, Tommy, Johnny (Barbara), David (Marie) and Treva Thompson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
