We are sad to announce that, on May 17, 2026, at the age of 75, Joyce Marie Johnson Adams of Old Hickory, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Barry Edward Gilliam. She is survived by: her husband Herman Adams; her children, Renee Gilliam, Melanie Woodard (B. J. Pruitt), Jason Adams (Danielle) and Steven Adams; her sister Retha Marlin (Johnnie); her sibling-in-law Dee Gish (Kurt); and her grandchildren, Barrett Ray, Tiffany Reed, Brittany Russell, Dylan Finch, Taylor Wise and Caleb Adams. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
