She was predeceased by: her husband Mahlon "Sam" Shaffer; her children, Tina Skinner and L. Perry Jr.; her siblings, Hayes, Jack, Bruce and Ruby; and her brother-in-law Tommy Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Nina Graham (Roger), Lee Edward Shaffer, Kamante Shaffer and Marvin Andrew Shaffer. She is also survived by 18 grand children, 20 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
