He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Anne Farris; his children, Vickey Bryan (Frank), Lisa McCoy (Mark), Randy Farris (Cassandra) and Jim Carson; his grandsons, Troy, Jeremiah, Joe, Justin and Sam; and his nephews, Billy Wade and Johnny Farris Lay.

Those wishing to honor his memory can make a donation in his name to St.Jude Children's Hospital or Tunica Humane Society.
