He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Phillips and Christine Phillips; his grandparents, Fletcher, Bessie Phillips, Harrison and Juanna Kennedy; and his brothers, Agbert Phillips, Charles Phillips and Danny Joe Phillips.
He is survived by: his son Albert Phillips, Jr.; his granddaughter Destiny Phillips; his siblings, Don Phillips (Denia), Eugene Phillips (Ruby), Irvin, Vernal, Avery, Eddie, Glenna Phillips (Roy), Phyllis Richards (Jimmy), Billie Madden (Terry), Linda Kay and Shirley; his caregiver Bradley Benham; his nephew Thomas Phillips; his great-nephew Alex Bunch; his nieces, Angela Tallent, Eugenia Bunch and Christina Bean; his great-niece Alice Bean; and his close friends, Roy Tinker and Speedy.
A procession will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Jackson Funeral Home (7071 Knoxville Hwy, Oliver Springs, TN 37840). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Pisgah Church Cemetery.
