She was predeceased by: her father Dale Abel; and her great grandchild Lane David Boswell. She is survived by: her mother Esther Abel; her husband David G. Applegate; her children, Dale Applegate (Dottie) of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Tracey Seymour (David) of Waxahachie, Texas and Tina Finney (Mark) of Lenoir City, Tennessee.; her grandchildren, Travis Applegate, Gabby Boswell, Macey Martinez, Daelyn Hedger and Cortlyn Hedger; her great grandchildren, Tucker Applegate, Miles Applegate, Cooper Boswell and Baby Martinez; and her sister Marilyn Gill (Mike).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Beech Park Baptist Crafts for Missions in memory of Carol Ann Applegate.
