He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Robert Williams and Fena Newport Williams; his wife Jewel Byrd Williams; and his siblings, Arie, Charlie Bud, Roy Clois Williams, Nila Chambers, Narie Lee Chambers and Ida Mae Carson.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Williams and Jodi Thompson (Josh); his grandchildren, Gage, Jacy Williams, Lauren and Noah Thompson; his sisters, Pearl Williams and Patsy Henson; and his close friends, Jerry Graham, Phillip Laxton and Gale Ray Pitman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
