He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Mart and Laura Belle Collins Chambers; his grandfather Brad; the mother of his children Doris Christine Boyatt Chambers; his close friend Wilmerth Marley (Willie); his in-laws, Boyce and Laura Boyatt (Miller); his siblings, Cliff Chambers (Prillie), Tommy Chambers, Jr. (Mertie), Eva Litton (Junior) and Jetta Chambers; his siblings-in-law, Wayne Boyatt, Royce Boyatt, Charlene Ellis (Robert) and Sandra Crabtree (Johnny); and his son-in-law Baker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Lay (Paul) and Elaine O'Beine (John); his grandchildren, Sean Spradlin (Liana), Cameron Spradlin (Gina) and Shawn Downton (Josh); his sister Colletta Chitwood (Cecil); his siblings-in-law, Deffis Boyatt (Sharon), Dale Boyatt (Karen), Steve Boyatt and Euladean Carson (Benny); and his nieces and nephews, Brad and Blaze. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
