She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burton Cecil and Betty Cosby Cecil; her grandparents, Boo, Anna Cosby of Georgia and Lula Phillips Cecil of Oneida; her in-laws, Johnny and Wilma Allen; her aunts, Doris Osborne (Jack), Patsy Krebs (Tom), Frances Saville (Wade) and Panonia Cecil; and her uncle Julian Cosby (Tulula).
She is survived by: her children, John Burton Allen (Kassie) and Jessica Rose Allen Shinkle (Adam); her grandchildren, Bentley and Parker Allen; her sister Lou Ann Smith (Denny); her nieces and nephews, Jordan Smith, Zach Smith and Stephanie Brooks (Tony); her great-nephews, Matthew and Lucas Brooks; her close friend Phyllis Acres; her pet Sissy; Betty Chitwood. She is also survived by numerous great nieces, nephews, and many cousins; Also survived by her church family.
