He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Houston and Floda Daugherty King; his son Ronald Wayne King; his great grandchild Jesse Wayne Brewster; his aunt Cordelia Gilreath; his grandparents, Albert, Barzilla Daugherty, Jasper and Kizzie Ross King; his siblings, Hollis, Hastin, Roger, Houston King and Gladys Nixon; his parents-in-law, Walter Homer and Mary Edna Duncan; and his siblings-in-law, James Harold Hughett, Bill Duncan, Bonnie King, Mary King and Jerri Hughett.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Faye; his daughter Kathy King West (Greg); his daughter-in-law Kim Cross King; his grandchildren, Tara Brewster, Corey King (Alicia), Michael West and Caleb King (Kaitlyn); his great grandchildren, Wyatt Brewster, Jaden King, Jase Brewster, Kaelyn West, Jasmine Gibson, Destiny Worley (Jeremy) and Brooke Raper (Gary); and his sisters-in-law, Carol Robertson and Sharon Duncan. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home (20059 Alberta St, Oneida, TN 37841). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
