He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Dean and Ila Jane Kirby Griffith; his grandparents, Boyant Sexton, Harlo and Elsie Kirby; and his father-in-law Charles P. Jeffers.

He is survived by : his wife Jill Ann Jeffers Griffith; his children, Eric Zane Griffith, Bayleigh Jane Ann Griffith and Lydia Kay Griffith; his siblings, David Griffith (Polly) and Connie Crampton (J. T.); his grandmother Opal Sexton; his brother-in-law Derek Jeffers (Karen); his mother-in-law Sandra Jeffers; his nieces and nephews, Dustin, Nathan Griffith, Jake Crampton (Sara), Chuck Jeffers (Jessica), Michael Jeffers (Kayla), Gary Jeffers (Elizabeth), Gabriel Jeffers (Shelley), Bree Jeffers, Brook Jeffers (Adam) and Hannah Duncan (Dustin); and his friend Highland Telephone Cooperative. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.
