He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyle Paul and Ruby Buttram Green; his son Darek Paul; his brother Eddie Paul; his stepfather Raymond Green; and his brothers-in-law, Maynard Cross, Leeroy Sexton and Frank Wallace.
He is survived by: his daughter Shonda Paul; his siblings, Nella Faye Cross of Oneida, TN, Patricia Wallace of Caryville, Doris Kennedy (Everett Kennedy), Patsy Evans (Bill Evans), Wanda Sexton of Oneida and Ronnie Paul (Kathy Paul); his close friend Margaret Bond; his brother Glen Buttram; his son Kevin Phillips; and his caregivers, Judy Phillips, Zach Phillips and Jennifer Penn.
