He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alexander Keller, Sr. and D. O.. He is survived by: his wife Rita Winther; and his children, Janolyn, Jayna Buck (Chris), Jill Gillian and James Alexander (Alec). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
