He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Patterson and Rose Ella Abbott Patterson; and his siblings, Elizabeth Ellis, Flossie King, Faye Patterson and Thomas Patterson of Oneida.
He is survived by: his brothers, William Patterson and Joseph Patterson of Oneida; and his daughters, Rinda Cadell and Lela Oliver. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the West-Murley Funeral Home (18641 Alberta St, Oneida, TN 37841). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the TBD Pine Hill Cemetery.
