He is survived by: his children, Patricia Davis (James) of Indianapolis, IN, Gwen Welch of Indianapolis, IN, Bessie Smith (Paul) of Indianapolis, IN and Richy Welch of Indianapolis, IN; his sisters, Violet Lashley of Charlestown, IN, Duretta Welch of Indianapolis, IN and Patsy Welch of Charlestown, IN; and his grandchildren, Destinny Welch, Jeremy Welch, Heater Willis, Tiffany Welch, Adam Davis, Elizabeth Messenger and Haleigh Robertson. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
