Judith Ann Matthews Obituary

We announce the death of Judith Ann Matthews of Oneida, Tennessee, who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 83. Judith Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Phillips and Grace Newport Phillips; her husband Allen D. Matthews; her son John Matthews; and her siblings, Gladys Puckett, Infant, Nancy Phillilps and Tony Phillips.

She is survived by: her daughter Heather Hines (Greg); her grandchildren, Ava, Brittanie and Dillon Hines; and her siblings, Fred K. Phillips of Helenwood, Ron Phillips (Laura) of Knoxville and Linda Cecil of Mt. Juliet. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Marcum-Kidd Cemetery.
