She was predeceased by: her father James Burchfield; her husband Robert Slaven; her son Brandon Slaven; her brother James Ronald Burchfield (Barbara); her grandparents, Calvert, Alma Ellis, Esau Burchfield and Cora Burchfield-Stonecipher; her mother-in-law Mabel Slaven; and her friend Nancy Chapman.
She is survived by: her mother Imogene Burchfield; her sister Sandra Hagler (Terry); her children, Stacy Slaven, Nicole Van Hook (Kenny), Chad Slaven, Elijah Slaven and Cody Slaven (Tiffany); her grandsons, Jacob Slaven (Ali), Cody Slaven (Tiffany), Tyler Crews (Makayla) and Logan Ellis; and her nephew Rick Slaven (Sherry). She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the West-Murley Funeral Home (18641 Alberta St, Oneida, TN 37841). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home (18641 Alberta St, Oneida, TN 37841).
