He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvalee Jeffers and Lassie Williams Jeffers; his sons, Danny, Ron and Don Jeffers; his grandson Darron Jeffers; his great grandchild Elleonna Jeffers; his parents-in-law, John and Alene Allen; his siblings, Nadine Bybee, Wanda Walker, Wilma Allen, Eddie Jeffers, Paul Jeffers, Thelma Harness (Claude), Norva Young and Odis Jeffers (Walteen); and his siblings-in-law, Jean West (Pat Jeffers), Johnny (Wilma), Joe (Pat), Robert Allen (Annie) and Roger Baird.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara L. Allen Jeffers; his son Rick Jeffers (Donna); his grandchildren, Dustin Jeffers (Julie), Derrick Jeffers (Amber), Adam Chambers (Kim), Mandy Schoch (Bryan), Jennifer Byrge (Brandon) and Jake Jeffers (Rhealey); his siblings, Kay McCann (Scott) and Art Jeffers; and his siblings-in-law, Mike West and Judy Baird. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jones & Son Funeral Home (20059 Alberta St, Oneida, TN 37841). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
