It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Bernice Smith of Ooltewah, Tennessee, born in Etowah, Tennessee, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Stiles and Beatrice Stiles; her husband Nelmon Smith; her siblings, Marjorie Huff and Audie Stiles; and her niece Billie Huff.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Indermill (Jim) and Lise Williams (Stephen); and her grandchildren, Kathy Bailey (Andrew), Melissa Tieslau (Brian), Bryan Williams (Sharon) and Brad Williams (Queenie). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
