He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Smith and Ethel Smith; and his siblings, James Smith, Lloyd Smith, David Smith and Betty Oldham.

He is survived by : his wife Linda Smith; his daughters, Christy Smith (Mark) and Becky Benefield (Ron); and his sister Hazel Miller. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
