He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Grimes and Mary Grimes (Scoggins); his wife Nell Grimes; and his son Mike Grimes. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Calecas (Grimes); and his granddaughters, Stephanie Fife (Robbie), Samantha Calecas and Selena Calecas.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services (7454 E Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
